Haven

This week, my senior thesis show opened. I created a book of my work, as well as putting some of my prints on the wall. Here she is:

To combat the chaos in my mind, I seek to find the the quiet moments in my environment.
Haven is a series of photographs that signify times of calm and solitude. Time is one of
strongest forces in my life, and as such, the times at which these photographs were taken is
significant to their meaning. I do not go out searching for quiet moments, but rather allow them
to find me and steady me when the world is spinning too fast.

"Quiet is here and all in me." -Richard Matheson

  1. Well done. You should post the statement from your book, too.
